 as well as numerous others. It will be the largest Clockenflap yet, with acts spread over five stages. Unlike previous festivals, this year's event is free to the public.

History

Clockenflap was founded in 2008 and is organized by Jay Forster and Mike Hill. As the principal members of the Robot collective, they have been leading contributors to the Hong Kong new media arts scene since 1997. Their stated goals for the festival are to nurture the Hong Kong arts, music and film scene and "put the city on Asia's contemporary media-arts circuit". The event strongly promotes environmental awareness. The organizers have a strict policy of carbon offset

ting and employ a team of dedicated "recycling wardens" to collect and separate all rubbish generated by the festival.

Clockenflap 2008

The first Clockenflap festival was held on Saturday 12 January 2008 at Cyberport
