The film festival was established by Chris Bishop and Seeta Indrani from MashMosh Films (http://www.mashmosh.co.uk/), and Ian Roberts from Blyth Cinema (http://www.communitywebs.org/BlythProgressAssociation/cinema.htm).

The Clare Valley Film Festival focus is education. The festival includes workshops, question and answer seminars with experienced industry professionals and a 24 hour film challenge.
