Christian Zetlitz Bretteville

Christian Zetlitz Bretteville (November 17, 1800 – February 24, 1871) was a Norwegian
politician who held several different positions in the Norwegian-Swedish
government during the period 1850-1871. He was Minister of Finance 1850-1852 and 1853–1854, Minister of the Interior in six periods from 1854–1871, as well as head of the Ministry of Auditing 1855-1856, a member of the Councils and interim Councils of State Division in Stockholm
in several periods from 1852–1866, and also appointed Prime Minister
three times from 1858-1862. He was also the mayor of Oslo in 1841.
