. Winemaker Mark Friszolowski who has won the North Carolina Best in Show and Double Gold Governor's Cup Award four times. All grapes are grown locally on the vineyard grounds, at Childress' home estate, as well as are purchased from local growers. Varieties include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Muscadine among others.
