Awards

The school holds the Artsmark Silver Award from the Arts Council to recognise the high quality of work in various aspects of the curriculum including Art, Drama, Music and Dance. It also has the Sports Mark Award recognising the strong sporting ethos of the school. Cheam High School received "Outstanding" Ofsted reports in both 2007 and 2010.
This is the highest grade Ofsted award and only 8% of schools receive it.
Cheam High School has recently (1/6/11) become an academy although it fully retains its character, ethos and appearance.
