Early life

Sadler was born in Martinsville, Indiana to Linda Rendleman and Stan Sadler. Her parents divorced when she was two, and she was raised as a young girl in Indianapolis with her mother, step-father, older sister and younger brother. Her mother was a writer and magazine editor, but eventually returned to the family business of real estate in Martinsville. Sadler appeared in a number of school plays, her first at the age of 9 as Little Red Riding Hood. Shortly after, she made her film debut in the movie, Hoosiers. She was heavily involved in music as well, playing the part of Cinderella in the musical Cinderella and Glenda the Good Witch in Wizard of Oz. She graduated from Martinsville High School and went to college at Indiana University

Sadler was hired by Fox 59 News in Indianapolis before finishing college hosting the weekly segment “Youth Matters.” After working in local news for about a year, she moved to California advance her career.

 for the WB20 News at 10. In 2001, she married her college boyfriend, Kyle Boyd, and they had their first son. The family moved back to Indiana where she resumed her on-air career at Fox 59. She also hosted the Indiana Lottery’s Hoosier Millionaire show and served as the official emcee for the Indiana Pacers. In 2005, Sadler gave birth to her second son. Sadler and her family returned to Los Angeles in 2006 when she was named host of The Daily 10 on E! alongside Sal Masekela

Charity work

Sadler is the international spokeperson for the Women Like Us Foundation, an organization her mother co-created after writing a book of the same name. In 2010, Sadler founded a local chapter - Women Like Us Hollywood. WLUH is dedicated to empowering at-risk school girls in inner city Los Angeles. Sadler serves as president.
