Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh founded on July 16th, 1959, is one of the Institutions conducted by the Apostolic Carmel Sisters.

The Educational Institutions of the Congregation of the Apostolic Carmel, a Catholic Minority (under Article 30(1) of the constitution of India) cater to the educational needs of Catholic children. However, they are also open to children of all castes and creeds.

The school is recognised by the Directorate of Education of the U.T. Administration. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education.

Bhopal

Carmel Convent School was established by the Sisters of the Congregation of Mother of Carmel (C.M.C.) in 1968. C.M.C. is an indigenous religious congregation of sisters who dedicate their lives for the uplift and the wholesome formation of our fellowmen especially women and children. The total formation of the human person has always been the top priority in the educational endeavors of C.M.C.

The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi w.e.f. April 1994 and managed by the Carmel Convent Education Society to cater to the educational needs of the children of the BHEL Township and the surrounding localities.

The school aims at the integral development of the personality of the students to fulfill a noble role in life. Hence the intellectual, cultural, physical, psychological and moral advancement receives the utmost care from the initial stages of the academic career.
