Filipiak plays in many festivals, including the Kennett Square Microbrew Festival, which featured him in 2005 and venues on the east coast of America; a favorite of his is the Cat's Eye Pub http://www.catseyepub.com/ in Fells Point, Baltimore. His most recent album is I Got Your Mantra, which marked a departure from his longtime label Geometric Records to Art of Life Records.

He has opened for national acts such as jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, songstress Roberta Flack and rock guitarist Eric Johnson.
