With the fall of the Republic of Venice was founded the "comune of Capo di Ponte" (1797-1798), which will change the name early in "comune of Cemmo and Capo di Ponte" (from 1798 to 1815); Under the Lombardo-Veneto kingdom the name was in "comune di Capo di Ponte e Cemmo"(from 1816 to 1859). Under the Reign of Italy finally take the name of the town of Capo di Ponte (since 1859).

  • Church of Saint Faustina and Liberata: it was handed down the legend that is so holy and Faustina Liberata, to live in penitence in a cave in the region at Capo di Ponte. They miraculously intervened to stop their hands with two boulders that threatened the village. Even today, near the church dedicated to them, you can see two huge boulders, which bear imprints of hands, and are still venerated by the people of the place.
