Since its creation the Institute have developed two cancer plans for the state.
  • 1st State Cancer Plan: 2004 - 2006
  • 2nd State Cancer Plan: 2007 - 2010


The Plans has five focus section which are aimed at improving cancer results. Their priorities are:
  1. Preventing cancer
  2. Detecting Cancer early
  3. Improving cancer services and professional education
  4. Accelerating improvement through research
  5. Relevant data and information
