The Cancer Institute of New South Wales(Australia
) was established in July 2003 by the New South Wales
state government
through the Cancer Institute NSW Act 2003. Its establishment was aimed at creating a cancer
management plan in consultation with the New South Wales Department of Health
.
Since its creation the Institute have developed two cancer plans for the state.
The Plans has five focus section which are aimed at improving cancer results. Their priorities are:
