American missionary ladies headed the school in its early years. In 1911, it entered students for the first time for the Senior Cambridge Examination

Bharati Mirchandani designed the stamp and the first day cover. Alka Sharma designed the pictorial first day postmark. A brochure containing write-up and technical data was issued.
