Budelli is located several hundred meters south of the Razzoli and Santa Maria islands. It has a surface of 1.6 km² and an overall coastal span of 12.3 km. The highest point is Monte Budello, at 87 m.

Budelli is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea. It is especially renowned for its Spiaggia Rosa ("Pink Beach"), in the south-eastern part of the island, which owes its typical color to microscopic fragments of coral
