Operation Poncho

Operation Poncho is an initiative undertaken by the City of London Police, City of London Corporation and Broadway, working with rough sleepers through the night to enquire after their well being and to alert them to accommodation options. A side aspect of this operation is dissipating large groups of rough sleepers from prominent public areas. Running alongside this initiative Broadway's outreach service in the City provides a seven day a week service which meets up with rough sleepers, throughout the day or night and finds individualised solutions for those on the streets be it reconnection to their home areas, access to medical support or housing through a myriad of options.

Funding

Broadway is funded by a combination of corporate sponsors, statutory funding, grant making trusts, foundations and individuals.
