Administration

From March 1989 to May 2006, the mayor of Bresolettes was Xavier van der Walle. By profession a farmer, van der Walle was politically an independent. Since June 2006, the mayor has been Franck Poirier, a business manager, also independent.

Demography

Notable people linked to the commune

Guillaume Pelletier (1598–1657) was born in Bresolettes and grew up at "La Cristerie".

Guillaume left for Canada - Beauport, Québec - in 1641 with his wife, Michelle Mabille of Tourouvre, their son, Jean, and Guillaume's brother, Antoine, under a three-year contract with the Lord of Beauport, Robert Giffard, also a native of the Perche region.

In the church of Saint-Pierre at Bresolettes there is a commemorative plaque to Guillaume and his brother Antoine, dedicated on 7 April 1977 by the Canadian ambassador to France, Gérard Pelletier, a descendant of Guillaume.
