Geography

Bommidi is situated 34 kilometres (21.1 mi) southeast of Dharmapuri. It is in the southern region of the district, close to the Salem District border. The town is surrounded by more than 150 villages in the Dharmapuri and Salem Districts. Bommidi is also known as B. Mallapuram
