Career
Wade was an outstanding full back who played for Stella Maris, Shamrock Rovers and Bohemians during the 1960s. He was captain of Bohs for the 1967/68 season. He made 110 league appearances for Bohs and won junior and amateur international caps for Ireland. His first amateur cap came against Scotland in May 1966.He is the father of ex-Bohs player Glen Wade.
