Bob grew up in the Worldwide Church of God, which at the time was a religious cult, before converting to Christianity at age 19. At 47, he has been married 24 years and has had one daughter and 6 sons. On Mother's Day, May 12, 2002, his daughter and oldest child, Colleen died of a heart attack after being treated over some time for a blood pressure disorder. She collapsed in his arms and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where she died.Professional career
