Olive Brides(2008)

Olive Brides is a series of oil paintings done on both canvas and woods. The series draws the contours of the Palestinian conflict as seen in the eyes of the Palestinian women: The fashion represented in form of the women clothing, explores the politics, folklore, and the tradition of Palestinian.

Rafe has done many political cartoons for independent newspapers and web publishers. She predominantly was the cartoonist for The Daily Cougar newspaper for 2 years.
