The picturesque place has lush green meadows scattered all around. The town is renowned for its Sugar Factory and the Ram Leela Dushera festival held every year. There are a number of educational institutions providing good quality education in various fields like engineering, medical, agriculture and others.In the city there are various historical places, one of the most famous is The Duve Talab, which is approximately 200 years old.

Bisalpur is located at 28.3°N 79.8°E. It has an average elevation of 156 metres (511 feet). Bisalpur is famous for its Sugar Factory and Very famous Ram Leela Dushera festival. It is also famous for Sweets of "Nirmal Sweets" and "Mahavir Sweets Distaces between Bisalpur to Bareilly and Pilibhit, is 43 km and 38 km respectively.
Bisalpur is largest Assembly seat of Pilibhit .
