. The club was founded in 1949 and is affiliated to the RFU and East Midlands Rugby Union.

Youth teams play in the Saracens Herts & Middlesex Leagues and the club is an official partner club of Saracens.

The Club colours are Blue with a Red band. The club runs up to four senior sides together with Vets, Mini, Youth and Colts sides. The First XV is playing this season (2011/12) in Midlands 3 East (South)

 league, and the Second XV (The Pirates) plays in the Greene King Abbot Super Premiers League. The Third XV enter the Greene King Leagues for the first time in 2011/12 season.
Both the First XV and The Pirates won promotion in the 2010/11 season.

The clubhouse has a bar, lounge and four squash courts, the club have six full pitches plus Minis pitches and big training area. All facilities are available for hire .

In September 2008 the club won the England Rugby / O2 Community Connections Competition for its work for the local community, giving twenty players from the club the chance to train with the England squad.
