. There are currently 10 teams in the league. The 2010-2011 champions were the Bienfait Coalers who defeated the three time defending champions the Midale Mustangs 4 games to 3 in the league final.

The league began in 1959-1960 with four teams, the Bienfait Coalers, the Frobisher Flyers, the Glen Ewen Eagles, and the Oxbow Aces.

The teams compete for the Lincoln Trophy.
