 encyclopedia in five volumes published by the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad. In 1959, the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad with financial help from Government of India and Government of West Bengal started compiling the Bharatkosh. The fifth and the final volume was published in 1973. Bharatkosh has not been updated since its first publication.
