Bessingby is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 1½ miles south west of the town of Bridlington. It lies to the east the A614 road.
Tucked away to the left of the churchyard as you enter is a wooden bench - the only memorial bench on the site. This was placed in memory of ex-Bridlington woman Lynn Maureen Jervis, who was married to John Metcalfe at St Magnus's Church in 1984 and whose daughter, Camille, was christened there.
