The Berne Union Band Program

Berne Union's marching band (BUGRMB) competes in Class A and AA in OMEA Adjudicated events. Since 1996, BUGRMB has earned 10 Grand Champion Awards, 22 Reserve Grand Champion Awards, 50 1st in Class, 25 2nd in Class, 32 Best Auxiliary, and 25 Best Percussion Awards. Since 1997 the Berne Union Wind Ensemble has traveled to Toronto (3x) Virginia Beach (2x), St. Louis (2x), Gatlinburg, and Dayton/Cincinnati to perform and participate in national and international festivals. The ensemble most recently placed first out of twenty three ensembles at a Music in The Parks Festival in St. Louis with a score of 98/100 from both adjudicators.
