Baylovo

Baylovo is a village in Western Bulgaria, 43 km east of Sofia.

Geography

Baylovo is located in the western wooded spurs of the mountain Ihtiman Sredna gora (Middle forest), nearly to its ridge, and south from Galabec hill land.

On the occasion of its location great Bullgarian writer Elin Pelin was wrote: "My home village is located right against the sun in a beautiful place, where the Sredna gora mountain has separated from her mother the Balkan Mountains

Climate

The climate of the village Baylovo characterized by late spring, cool summer, warm and mild autumn and winter short (average 2 - 3 months). Most precipitations falls in late May and June, least at the end of July and August. In autumn and winter mainly blow, winds the so called "Sofia citizen" and "Zagorets", coming from the west and northwest.
