It is no wonder that the Department of Mathematics at Bashkir State University and the Ufa Institute of Mathematics with Computing Center are among the best Russian schools in Applied Mathematics and Pure Mathematics, particularly, in the fields of asymptotic and perturbation methods as well as analytical function theory and complex analysis.
