, like any other profession, has a role to play and a responsibility beyond business success to our society and towards our planet. BSL’s research is dedicated to resolving the key issues in business and management of the 21st century. As with our degree programs, BSL pursues an pragmatic approach focusing on applied research only. Rather than seeking to add to the body of knowledge, we challenge ourselves to apply knowledge across domains or within a new context. In the late eighties, BSL was among the first business school in Europe to introduce a DBA program, recognizing the importance of applied research in the field of business. More recently, recognizing the need to balance relevance with rigor, BSL has adopted a stronger and more focused research strategy supporting BSL’s overall vision as a leading innovator in business education.
