. The first BRIDEX took place on May 31 to June 2, 2007. The next BRIDEX event is scheduled to take place in 2013.

History

The first BRIDEX took place on May 31 to June 2 2007, with the participation of 108 companies from 16 countries. 11000 members of the public visited the event during the three-day period. The second BRIDEX occurred in 2009. 25000 members of the public visited the event, where 250 companies from 25 countries exhibited their products. The 2011 BRIDEX event took place from from 6 to 9 July. For the 2011 event, a City Parade was held. This was purely ceremonial; no armaments were exhibited. There are plans to make the City Parade an annual event.
