Features

Autodesk Toxik includes several powerful features. The most noticeable of these new features is a collaboration based work flow. Licenses were sold in packages of three to allow users to take full advantage of the collaboration features. Also, Toxik includes a dynamic zoom

system that allows faster processing when working with larger video formats. Toxik also includes a paint module, motion path animation, and a "Master Keyer module." Toxic runs around the idea of Modules, which are small extensions that allow Toxik to be extremely adaptive. In the 2007 release, users were allowed to choose which modules they wanted to include and use. From Toxik 2008 and on, all the default modules were installed, because users found the module selection system inefficient.

Current Status

Toxik was integrated in Autodesk Maya in 2010, and is now being developed as part of Maya.
