. Thornton left the band in 2009. According to the blog he posted on MySpace
, he and Of Machines had "a fall out shortly after the .5 tour with Attack Attack!
and Watchout! There's Ghosts" and that there was a "battle" about what would be featured on their second album. He also cited personal differences, since he had "grown up with one of the members we fought like brothers from time to time and anyone who has a sibling can understand where I'm coming from when I say, that's a difficult thing to deal with while stuck in a van with 5-6 other guys for month(s) and hours on end." He also stated that Of Machines were his friends, but Woe, Is Me "is his family and it just works out better that way." He also said he doesn't want to be known as the former drummer of Of Machines, but rather the drummer of Woe, Is Me. He closed the post saying "One Last Note; Brent [Guiswite, drummer]...is a great guy and friend of mine, so have faith in him; he'll do some cool shit on their next [full length album]."
