History

ArtDaily was born when its editor, Ignacio Villarreal, took his passion for art and decided to show the World the wonders of art through the new media called the Internet in 1996. Ignacio Villarreal is one of Mexico's premiere graphic designer, art book editor and advertising creative. Since the mid-1980s Ignacio Publisher an arts magazine titled Espacio. After this magazine another came titled Museums. The sudden burst of the Internet motivated Ignacio to take his magazine to the Internet and convert it into ArtDaily, the first art newspaper on the net.
