History

Ara Damansara was first developed in 1999 by Sime Pilmoor Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Berhad, and managed by Sime UEP Development Sdn Bhd, Ara Damansara will encompass approximately 4,000 units of various property types once completed.\

The current access is via the six-lane dual carriageway old Subang Airport expressway and a RM35 million interchange. Second access is through NKVE tunnel via Crimson Condominium to Damansara-Puchong Expressway

(LDP). The eastern portion of Ara Damansara is linked to Persiaran Tropicana thru new access road that pass through Damansara Idaman.

Future Development

Oasis Ara Damansara is divided into six phases of development on 15.7 acres (63,535.7 m²). It has two office towers integrated into a lifestyle environment featuring shops, a landscaped jogging track, serviced apartments and Central Piazza, featuring cafes and shops as well as a floating stage.

The development of the first phase comprise 288 shop offices and office suites in two 10 to 12-storey blocks. The first phase is targeted to be completed by end-2009 and all the six phases by 2011.

Ara Hill is a signature development by Sime Darby Property, consisting of gated and guarded high-rise condos and low-rise villas on a 6 acres (24,281.2 m²) land.
