 professional racecar driver who competed in several national formula championships from 1996 to 2004. Vilariño competed in karting events from 1990 until his 1996 debut in French Formula Campus. In 1997 Vilariño would move to the more prestigious French Formula Renault, staying there for two years. Vilariño would then spend 1999 competing in rally events in Spain.

In 2000 Vilariño made his major breakthrough, winning the Spanish Formula SuperToyota championship. This landed him a drive in one race of the 2001 European Le Mans Series

Vilariño moved to World Series by Nissan in 2002, driving for the Graff team until 2004, when he left the series.After that, Vilariño moved to the European Hill Climb Championship where he won the FIA European Hill Climb Cup in 2005 and won the FIA European Hill Climb Championship in 2007. Finally Vilariño moved back to circuit racing to the VdeV Series where finished 7th in the Sport Prototipe European Endurance Challenge in 2008 and finished 3rd in the same championship in 2009 after racing in only half of the season.
