Amy and Laura remained close throughout their lives. Amy was very disappointed and hurt when Laura faked her death and did not tell Amy about it. Amy was always a shoulder for Laura to cry on. Their relationship eventually recovered from Laura's deception. Amy remained single throughout her time on the show.
