History

Jack Collins founded Amcom Software in 1984 in Minneapolis. In March 2007, 2ndWave Software acquired the company and in November 2007, Amcom Software announced a merger to with Xtend Communications. In January 2008, Amcom acquired Telident E911 Solutions from Teltronics, Inc. Amcom then acquired Commtech Wireless in September 2008. In February 2009, Amcom acquired SDC Solutions.
