, Alina joined the BBC via BBC Talent, working initially for Radio Solent, before joining South Today as their main weather presenter in 2001.
On 21 July 2006, Alina presented her final BBC South weather forecast. She has since returned to work on Radio Solent, presenting the Early Morning Music show from 5am to 6.30 on weekdays (slightly later on Saturdays).
Outside of work, Alina has a keen interest in dance, teaching jazz
