Albert Meyong Zé (born October 19, 1980 in Yaoundé) is a Cameroonian footballer who currently plays as striker for Sporting Clube de Braga, in the Portuguese first division.
Meyong started playing in Europe still a youngster, for Italian club Ravenna Calcio. After 1/2 seasons he moved to Portuguese Liga Vitória Futebol Clube. At Setúbal, he won the Portuguese Cup in 2005, having scored the winning goal in the final against S.L. Benfica.
In summer 2005, Meyong signed a two-year contract with C.F. Os Belenenses (where he was the league's top goalscorer, despite the club's bottom 4 finish), but moved to Levante UD a year later. Due to late payment of salary, he was loaned to Albacete Balompié, after one appearance for Levante in 2007-08.
In January 2008, Meyong returned to Portugal and Belenenses, scoring the penalty winner against Associação Naval 1º de Maio in a 2-1 home win but, being this the third club he represented in 2007-08, which is against FIFA regulations, his registration was deemed illegal and Belenenses condemned to lose six points in the table (awarded 0-3 loss and 3 point penalty in this match).
In August 2008, Meyong joined another Portuguese club, Sporting Clube de Braga. On August 23, 2008, he scored his first goal for the club, in a 2-0 win at F.C. Paços de Ferreira. He added a hat-trick on September 18, in a UEFA Cup first round contest against Artmedia Bratislava, a 4-0 home success.
Midway through 2008-09, Meyong prolonged his contract for another year, until 2011, quieting all rumours of him eventually leaving. The new link included a €10 million buy-out clause.
