. It celebrated its 21st birthday in 2008. It has grown steadily over the years from small humble beginnings to its present day size. It now plays host to over a hundred multi-arts community events, performances, exhibitions and workshops throughout the Adur district during the first two weeks of June every year.

The Adur Festival has developed from a small arts and dance festival into an established and recognised annual arts event in Sussex.

The Festival runs for a fortnight during the first two weeks of June every year and provides opportunities to see and participate in many varied art forms.
