's daughter Damarata. He was one of fifteen guardians named by Hiero to counsel Hiero's fifteen-year-old grandson and successor, Hieronymos. Adranodoros dismissed the guardians, saying that they were not needed, and became Hieronymos's chief counselor. He encouraged Hieronymos to change the allegiance of Syracuse from Rome

. Following Hieronymos's assassination in 215 BC, he attempted to seize power but was too ineffectual. He was assassinated in 214 BC by the pro-Roman faction that assassinated Hieronymos.
