Adam Braver is an American author who has published four acclaimed novels, mostly of historical fiction.

Braver's short stories have appeared in journals such as "Harvard Review," "Tin House," "Daedalus," "Ontario Review," "The Normal School," and "West Branch." His work has been anthologized in "The Lincoln Anthology" (The Library of America, 2008), "Breakthrough" (Peter Lang Publishers, 2007), and "No Near Exit: Writers Select Their Favorite Work From Post Road Magazine" (Dzanc Books, 2010). Braver is writer-in-residence, and teaches at Roger Williams University
