ALNAP is a sector-wide network in the international humanitarian system made up of key international humanitarian organisations and experts. Established in 1997 following the multi-agency evaluation of the humanitarian response to the Rwandan Genocide

In July 2011, ALNAP took part in a move to strengthen it's collaboration with three other quality and accountability initiatives in a review their effectiveness and impact.
