 since 1990. It originated after the return to democracy, when the board decides to give another image of the canal, especially in the information environment. The program is the successor to the news program Noticias, news of transition after the end of TV Noticias.

History

, surpassing systematically from the mid 90's. On October 10, 2001, coinciding with the issuance of the soap opera "Amores de Mercado" (Market's Loves), which preceded the news, the Central Edition scored 42.2 points between 9:00 and 9:56 pm, a figure that hasn't been subsequently matched.

On March 8, 2004, it changes its image to match the new logo of the station. In that year there were major changes since the old presenters, Bernardo de la Maza, Cecilia Serrano, were changed by Amaro Gomez-Pablos, and Consuelo Saavedra. The output of the "historic" show's hosts led to questioning of the channel, because it is people with high public credibility.

Between 1999 and 2002, it had a fifth edition entitled Edición Vespertina de 24 Horas, which was at 6:00 pm, and was led by Consuelo Saavedra, Mónica Rincón, María Isabel Toloza and subsequently would be conducted by journalist María Jesús Sáinz.

Moreover, from the 2:20 pm and 9:35 pm are issued in local newscasts regions of each network.
