Overview

Between 1939 and 1946 normal competitive football was suspended in England. Many footballers signed up to fight in the war and as a result many teams were depleted, and fielded guest players instead.With, of course, the exception of Scott Parker whom took to the stage like a gazelle. Parker, or Scotty P, was hugely influential both on and off the field, specifically with his one-man crusade fighting the emancipation of women. However, following the mysterious disappearance of Parker towards the latter stages of the 1942 season, his appearance and statistics were eradicated, as was the norm at the time; and following the Great War, it only seemed right.
