Let's have a good open discussion about the merits of life in the UK and the drawbacks.
I like discussions that are subjective and about other people's feelings and views. Nobody needs to 'prove' anyone else wrong or 'misguided'- It's all about personal opinion.
For what it's worth, here's my contribution:
I like living in a place where it's considered acceptable to have a discussion like this.
I love the long history and heritage of the place (even though some of it seems a bit shameful in these enlightened times.)
I don't like the tradition of judging people by their background and standing.We still tend to do this despite our best efforts at 'equality'.
And then there's the weather...
