My Question; If in the united states the people votes count and it is us who officially decide on some matters at hand, in the senate (on different topics and issues) then how come when it comes to our vote it does not really matter. I always here the people's vote is so small it does
not matter. Then why don't we boot government and tell them it doesnt matter when they hit the unemployment line? Why does the people's vote not count? Do we really control our government?

The question of the ages.

yes votes count so inform yourself before voting on ANYTHING, including your local politicians.

we control our government absolutely but our knowledge and opinions control us. GET INFORMATION ABOUT WHO YOU CHOOSE TO VOTE FOR. KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BELIEVE AND ALIGN YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY.

don't vote for something or someone just because it feels good to do so. If you can't choose because you have no idea what the choices are, then please, I beg you, don't vote.

one last thing and its a tired, half dead horse, I apologize

...don't vote if all you know about the issues and the politicians comes from main stream media, especially televised media. The media is all about making money by sensationalizing things. They only report on things that can be sensationalized and truth is rarely entertaining.
The truth IS out there but it's hard to find. Don't take the easy way out, go look for yourself. Don't vote from your heart, vote from your head.

we may not agree politically about anything, that's cool, but we should all agree about knowledgeable argument for and against everything each of us deems important.

thanks
