, an American television station, airing from 7 am to 10 am Eastern Time on weekdays. It focuses on morning weather conditions around the country, and more recently, news and business information that does not pertain to weather.

Program history

In 2000, The Weather Channel began a multi-year reformatting of its program schedule, converting from a one-program approach (embodied in Weather Center

At its launch, Your Weather Todays anchor pair was Heather Tesch (who made her TWC debut the year prior) and Marshall Seese. For Your Weather Today, the Local on the 8s

concept was revived (specifically the brand). The "Travel Desk" segment focuses on air travel and highway travel conditions.

In 2008, Your Weather Today underwent a total graphic relaunch as part of a major TWC move to high-definition; between June 2 and August 12, all of The Weather Channel's live weather programming moved to the HD format and new HD studio. Marshall Seese retired in November of that year, and he was replaced by Kevin Robinson in March 2009.

In March 2009, Tesch left Your Weather Today for Day Planner, and was permanently replaced by Nicole Mitchell. Also at this point, storm tracker Jim Cantore joined the show from Evening Edition

Due to the fact Abrams has to fill-in for Al Roker on the Today Show in New York City commonly including her work with one of TWC's shows WeatherProof, Jen Carfagno is officially a sub co-host on Your Weather Today alongside Abrams or Bettes.  Part 2.

A new graphics and music package debuted for Your Weather Today on April 5, 2010. This revamp removed the "with Abrams & Bettes" from the on screen graphics, however the show title remains Your Weather Today with Abrams & Bettes on interactive programming guides and weather.com.

2010: Carfagno's appearances on the show have increased significantly in recent months, due to Bettes' absence during the course of Vortex 2, May 1 through June 15, and Abrams' absence working on the 2nd season WeatherProof. The move coincides with the cancellation of the controversial Flick and a Forecast movie series, which Carfagno hosted. Chris Warren fills in when a second substitute is needed.

2011: Mike Bettes has head out again for the third year in a row on Vortex 2, now called/renamed "The Great Tornado Hunt" from May 9 - June 3. This year the program will last slightly shorter due to the fact they are on their own this year and the Vortex 2 project itself has ended. Jen Carfagno will once again take Mike Bettes's role while he is gone. Part of the time though Eric Fisher may take Bettes's role as well, when needed, due to the fact Carfagno has moved to anchoring the weekends with him. This year Stephanie Abrams will not have an absence on Your Weather Today during The Great Tornado Hunt due to her duties of the making of Weatherproof unlike last year.
