Introduction

The school covers an area of more than 200 acres including a building area about 50000 square meters and green coverage about 53000 square meters. In the campus, a batch of modern architecture groups stand, together with a bridge which is 120 meters long and is called "Jing Fan Bridge" to show admiration to Fan Zhongyan

There are 54 classes now and over 2800 students in this school. And teachers are all of bachelor degree or above. Within the faculty of this school, there are 3 super teachers, 1 famous teacher of Jiangsu province, 87 senior teachers and 69 secondary teachers.

The Long History

The school history can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty when it was 1834. And at that time, the school was called "Wengzhen Academy". In 1953, the government of Jiangsu province authorized the school to rename as "Xinghua Middle School". In 1980, it was awarded the reputation of "Four-star level high school".
