. It is composed of two schools. Students between grades Kdg through fourth are educated at Westfield School, under direction of principal Pat Hodge. District students then enter North Prairie Junior High School, which serves grades fifth through eight. The principal of North Prairie is Ted Brooks. Winthrop Harbor School District's superintendent is Dr. Dennis Guiser.
