, St Nicholas Church, a Methodist Chapel and a bowls club, are located around the local pub. The Winsley Cricket Club is adjacent to the Manor House grounds overlooking the Avon Valley. The Rugby Club, home to Bradford on Avon & District RFC, is situated at the eastern end of the village with access from the by-pass.
, still keeping the 16th century tower, which now joins the church by a little arch. One of the basement stones of the tower is dated 1761. The church clock dates from the late 18th century, and the three bells were installed into the tower in 1951. In 2004 the clock was converted to an electric movement.
The church organ was constructed in 1876 at a cost of £200. By 1922 it had deteriorated, and was dismantled, repaired, cleaned and re-sited. Further repairs and improvements were made in 1931 and again in 1960. The electrical blowing equipment was installed in 1947. Then again, in May 1998 the organ was completely dismantled, its 700 pipes removed and cleaned, refurbished, and adjusted. The restoration was completed in September 1998 at a total cost of £9000.
In 1924, a solid fuel boiler and hot water pipes were installed in the church, and 19 electric lights were installed to replace the old oil lamps. The heating was converted to oil in 1967, then to gas in 1987.

Geography
Winsley is distinctly split into the Old Winsley Village and the Tyning Estate. Some public services can be found in the centre of either of these areas. The B3108 road once passed through the old village but a relief road avoiding the narrow roads and double bends was completed in 1997. The village is well served by two bus services to and from the Bath Bus Station (164 along the by-pass and 165 through the Old Village). There is a regular timetable throughout the day serving Bath, Trowbridge and Warminster.Economy
Winsley is mainly a commuter village, but there are still a number of farms around the outskirts of the village. Care facilities for the elderly and infirm exist in Winsley including Avon Park Care Village and Lyddieth Court sheltered apartments. Dorothy House Hospice Care operates a ten bed in-patient hospice and a considerable day-care and training facility.Public services
Winsley has a range of services. On the Tyning Estate built in the 1960s, a local shop with Post Office and a health centre with doctor's pharmacy are next to the Church of England Primary School.
