Although Hosea Kutako International Airport is the main international airport of Namibia, yet there are no direct flights from/to this airport to/from countries other than its neighbouring countries (i.e. Angola, Botswana, Zambia & South Africa), Zimbabwe, Ghana & Germany. Therefore most of the passengers flying into / out of Namibia must have to travel via O. R. Tombo international airport, Johannesburg for the obvious reasons, where the choices are tremendous. The direct flights between Hosea Kutako International Airport and O. R. Tombo international airport, numbering around 18 scheduled flights everyday are the major contributors of international passenger traffic at Hosea Kutako International Airport.. . .
